Enter Client Absence

If a client was absent from a Residential or Parenting Program, the program manager should enter an absence for the client. To do so:

  1. Sign in to your Personal Profile
  2. Click the desired program type from the sidebar (Residential Programs or Parenting Programs)
  3. Search for the program by using the filters and click "Search"
  4. Click anywhere in the program row to open the Program Details Page
  5. Click "Actions"
  6. Click "New Entry"
  7. Ensure Entry Type reads "Absent", then complete the entry form
  8. Click "Save"
  9. Click "Yes" on the confirmation window

Absence entries can also be created from the Residential or Parenting Program profile:

  1. Sign in to the Residential or Parenting Program
  2. Click "Clients" on the sidebar
  3. Click "Actions"
  4. Click "New Absent"
  5. Complete the Entry Form and click "Save"
  6. Click "Yes" on the confirmation window

This absence will be approved when the monthly attendance is approved. For more info on approving attendance, please see the "Approve Client Residential and Parenting Program Attendance" How-To.

NOTE: This task requires Supervisor Role.
